David Hebert, vocalist, trumpeter and songwriter, is currently completing a Ph.D. degree in music at the University of Washington. Band members include young rising stars of Seattle's jazz scene: Andrew and Michael Glynn (sax & bass); Ian Dobson (drums); Michael Horowitz (guitar); and Michael Cabe (keys). While the band usually performs as a sextet, a quartet can be arranged for more intimate settings. The original CD release, "David Gabriel Hebert: Currents," is available at local music stores. Shows are booked at Triple J Cafe, Dynamite Lounge, Six Degrees Restaurant and elsewhere. Entertaining, artistic and professional, the David Hebert Group is inspiring for all audiences.
