 Grindstone

Grindstone
is the first band in history on a Nintendo 64 video game! The name of
the game is 'Top Gear Overdrive'and contains six songs off Grindstone's
self-released, self-titled debut album. This extreme car racing video
game features the Grindstone songs Come Alive, Mir, Threshold, Everything,
Hollow Eyes and Appropriate! Grindstone is the first band in history and
the first ever to have vocals on a Nintendo video game! The game is a
sequel to Nintendo 64's 'Top Gear Rally.' 'Top Gear Rally' is a critically
acclaimed racing game and Snowblind Studios is determined to make 'Top
Gear Overdrive' more intense by adding Grindstone as the soundtrack! Grindstone
continues to forge their own identity with the release of their 2nd CD
titled 'Nowhere under.' With roots embedded in Tool, Alice in Chains and
Deftones, Grindstone has skillfully combined tranquil melodies with explosive
hard-hitting sounds. 'Wired' exploits the powerfully driven beats of techno
reminiscent of Zombie, while 'Changes' introduces a much softer acoustical
element, Heavily grooved, clear and crisp; Hear why Grindstone's new CD
'Nowhere Under' is being dubbed "the band's calling card."
