Grindstone is the first band in history on a Nintendo 64 video game! The name of the game is 'Top Gear Overdrive'and contains six songs off Grindstone's self-released, self-titled debut album. This extreme car racing video game features the Grindstone songs Come Alive, Mir, Threshold, Everything, Hollow Eyes and Appropriate! Grindstone is the first band in history and the first ever to have vocals on a Nintendo video game! The game is a sequel to Nintendo 64's 'Top Gear Rally.' 'Top Gear Rally' is a critically acclaimed racing game and Snowblind Studios is determined to make 'Top Gear Overdrive' more intense by adding Grindstone as the soundtrack! Grindstone continues to forge their own identity with the release of their 2nd CD titled 'Nowhere under.' With roots embedded in Tool, Alice in Chains and Deftones, Grindstone has skillfully combined tranquil melodies with explosive hard-hitting sounds.
